The State

The estate is located in the macro region of the Pico da Bandeira (the highest point in the Southeast Brazilian region). The estate comprises of 550 hectares. Only 40 % of which is devoted to coffee production.

Several water falls exist within the project, one of them with 100 meters, which originated the name Cachoeira Alta, meaning exactly "high water fall".

The farm possesses a modern planned infrastructure to produce natural and pulped coffees so product processing is made under best cleanliness conditions. Goal is not only to produce best coffees at the threes but also to maintain quality after harvest.

To achieve this goal the coffee grains are in first conducted to drying yards and after that to dryer machines for the mechanical drier termination process. Inside buildings coffee movements are fully automated, which also avoids man work under penurious conditions.

Process ends with coffee storage in modern wood silos. These storage silos are constructed in a way so air flows freely all around the structures, contributing decisively to the quality preservation.
